A school council is a means for parents and community members to work together with the principal and the school to support and enhance student learning. Members of our local school council work with our school in an advisory role on education matters such as academic programs to school policies and budgeting. According to the School Act, “a school council may advise the school respecting any matter relating to the school”. Anyone that attends council meetings will be considered a part of the school council and will have a vote in decisions.
As per the School Council vote on September 27th, the School Council will meet once per quarter. Meeting dates and times will be announced two weeks prior to each meeting. For additional information, please contact our office.
