Transportation and NCS Updates

Please see the message below from our School Principal for two important updates. 

Dear Niton Central Community,

The Tuesday White Hatter presentations for our grade 3/4 and 5/6 is being rescheduled as both our community and the presenter's community are experiencing inclement weather.

Our Transportation Department has made the safe decision to cancel buses across the division for tomorrow due to the very poor weather conditions that we are currently facing. You should have also received word from your child's bus driver(s).

Junior Kindergarten will still be offered if parents choose to drive students to class.

Please see the following information from our Transportation Department.

Dear Parents,

With the start of the winter season, families are reminded to download our Rally Bus Route app which provides an instant update on the status of your child’s bus route. Families can also check on the Division’s website by clicking on the small bus in the top right corner. A yellow or red bus icon means there is a delay or cancellation on a Division route(s). Route delays are more common in inclement weather conditions so please ensure that your child is dressed warmly while waiting at their stops.

We take the health and safety of our staff and students riding the bus very seriously and thank you for your trust and support!
